1. Nature of the Event

The Event is a multi-day embodied leadership retreat and may include guided movement, meditation, breath or awareness practices, subconscious and somatic exercises, nervous system regulation experiences, ceremonies, group sharing, wellness amenities, meals, nature hikes, transportation-related movement, and other indoor or outdoor activities.

2. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participation in the Event involves inherent risks. These may include physical exertion, injury, illness, allergic reaction, fatigue, dehydration, falls, emotional discomfort, psychological stress, unexpected personal responses, participant interactions, outdoor or environmental hazards, food-related issues, travel-related incidents, use of wellness or lodging facilities, and delays in access to emergency care.

I understand that some experiences may feel physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually intense, and that participation may involve risks that cannot be fully eliminated.

3. Voluntary Participation

I am choosing to participate voluntarily and accept responsibility for that choice. I knowingly assume the risks associated with my application, travel, attendance, lodging, meals, participation, observation, transportation, and any related activity connected with the Event.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Lumora Confluence, its founders, hosts, facilitators, contractors, venue partners, property owners, staff, volunteers, affiliates, successors, and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to my participation in, travel to or from, or presence at the Event, including claims for bodily injury, illness, death, emotional distress, psychological injury, property loss, economic loss, or other damages.

This release does not apply where a waiver is prohibited by applicable law, including claims arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct where such limitation is not permitted.

5. No Promise of Specific Outcomes

I understand that the Event is offered as an educational, experiential, wellness-oriented, and personal-development experience. The Released Parties do not guarantee any specific personal, professional, emotional, relational, financial, spiritual, leadership, health, or transformational outcome.

6. Personal Health Responsibility

I understand that the Event is not medical treatment, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, crisis care, diagnosis, or emergency care. I am responsible for deciding whether participation is appropriate for me and for obtaining any medical, psychological, or therapeutic support or clearance I may need before, during, or after the Event.

7. Emergency Assistance

If I experience an illness, injury, or emergency during the Event, I authorize the Organizers to seek emergency assistance for me if reasonably necessary. I understand that the Organizers are not assuming a duty to provide medical care and that I remain responsible for resulting medical, transport, and related costs.

8. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to my actions, omissions, conduct, negligence, violation of Event policies, or breach of this Agreement.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

10. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Knowing and Voluntary Agreement

I acknowledge that I have read this Agreement carefully, understand its contents, understand that I am waiving certain legal rights, and sign it freely and voluntarily.
